At the Hobart Function and Conference Centre we started partying in 1999 and we’ve been going strong ever since! As the sun goes down on the Hobart waterfront, the harbour lights reflect off the water and through the floor to ceiling windows in each of our rooms, making this a magical place to celebrate, network or reward.

Engagements, gala dinners, awards nights, birthdays and any other kind of celebration or social gathering are perfectly set here, and our experience will ensure your event is a huge success. We will help you choose the perfect menu and assist with every aspect of the night, from timing the programme to booking the entertainment, AV requirements and some very special theming. All you’ll have to worry about is what to wear.

Wonderful Tasmanian wines can best matched to the finest local produce, passionately presented by our Head Chef, Will Godman and his dedicated team. Best of all if you’re a visitor to Hobart, it’s only a short stumbling distance to some of the city’s best hotels – in fact it’s just upstairs if you choose to stay at Somerset on the Pier.
